FDA VapeOut

Xbox commissioned a mini-game for the FDA to raise teen awareness about the dangers of vaping.

The goal: interrupt mass media obsession with vaping by embedding anti-vaping messaging into an engaging Xbox mini-game. The result is an endless runner set in a dystopian, cyberpunk city filled with colourful vaping references. Players initially collect vapes and liquids, but this ends the game with a health warning. On replay, they learn to avoid vapes and run as long as possible to win.

Inspiration drawn from the cyberpunk genre, Blade Runner, and Neon Drive.
